In late November, renowned author and illustrator Bryan Collier visited Ethical Culture to lead workshops with students.
Collier spoke to students about the power of creativity and how to read the images in a book as closely as the words.
Collier also spoke about perseverance — he tried for seven years before publishing his first book — and why you should never give up on your dreams.
Students at Ethical Culture enjoyed listening to Collier read several of his books out loud; they also asked him insightful questions about his creative process.
